Simulating a mine explosion
Testing components, equipment, seats and stretchers in the field during a real mine explosion is an extremely laborious and costly process.
On our sled system, we can realistically simulate the stress caused by a mine explosion under the wheel, underground or as a side blast. To test mine-protected seats, we can also simulate the secondary impact of the vehicle hitting the ground after the mine explosion.
- Exposure time, intensity and change in speed according to data from a real explosion
- Weightless state in the load direction as is found in the vehicle after an explosion
- Real deceleration pulse during secondary impact
We help you to validate your product using cost-effective sled tests and adapt it to the stress of a real mine explosion.
